I have a big 4 or 5 foot female plant growing outdoors. It has been growing for a good four or five months. I was wondering when should i exspect it to flower and is there any thing i can do to make it bud now. Im getting impatient. I live in south florida. Lots of rain and sun.

They need a decent period of darkness to enduce flowering. A wise man told me 36 hours would do the trick. That's what I did, and two of my three are indeed budding, and they're only 7 weeks old, 20-22in. tall. If yours are in the ground, you may have to construct something around them to block out all light for that time. Afterwards the rain and sun should do your lady wonders!

My outside plants get brought in two hours before sun down everyday and stuck in a closet until morning. I live in florida also and there's no way I could wait out such a long season. But if you do your plant will be ENORMOUS! Good luck.
