I finally got some mylar...I think?

So I head out to the local hydroponics store to get some mylar. I ask the girl for it, she hands me roll, and head home. I don't bother looking at the sticky on it until I get home, and it reads "Silver metalized polyester"... is this actually the name for mylar, is it something different, and will it be ok?

i just googled it and mylar...i would say its the same damn thing, but i could be wrong

Yeah, It's mylar. Might be generic but it will do the same thing. I promise

Yeah, it's not like I would bring it back, I'm too lazy for that, took me long enough to get across town to get it It looks like mylar, I will update the grow journal with pics once I get it in there.

Mylar is the trademark for Dupont's polyester. Same thing. Makes sense to use it; white paint is only 90% so after four reflections the light is down to 63% of original. Good Mylar is around 98% so the light bounces around forever.
