is it too late to add lime?

i planted my beauties about a month ago.

i'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forest in one gallon pots

Unfortunately, I'm having some pH issues and the pH of my soil is low. I know its better to add the lime before you plant, but if I sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons per gallon on top of the bed will it help out?

Are you growing them in peat?

You can add lime any time. Just water it in. I was having problems with blossom end rot on my toms. Just sprinkled a handlful of slaked lime and watered. End of problem.
