More bud this way....?

Has anyone tried flowering with maybe a 8/16 or a 10/14 instead of a 12/12? I read in a thread that the plant produces bud then the light is off so if you have a longer dark period would the plant produce more bud? It seems logical to me..:woohoo:

nope.. plants need at least 12hours photosythesis time to produce
sugars needed to grow.

What if you stretched it around and did like a 12 hour light then say 14 off then 12 hour light again???

i always thought the last week or two in 10 hours of light...think i'll stick with 12
