hi.
what size air pump do you use in your DWC systems, say 2 gal.?
if you were pushing 2-6" air stones?
would a 4 watt pump be sufficient? over kill?
i am uncertain, this is my first dance.:hubba:
as always, any advice is greatly appreciated. :)

4 watt to 2 stones in 2 gal each is a little much. But u can just get a cheap valve and turn down pressure if needed

Hi all,
Rather than start another threads on the subject I thought Id ask here to start with. What is the ideal rate of air flow for a 25L bucket being used for a DWC system. Anyone know?

Thanks cain1.

I use 35 watts for a 6 bucket system

You want to use a pump that has enough psi to give a stream of very fine air bubbles. Very fine air bubbles are better than massive huge air bubbles.

Dont know my wattage but I run a 950 gph pump to my ladies. I had it split 8 ways at one point, but I would say 30gph would work per five gal bucket at least.
