one more question after pulling them i hung them up but is it ok if they are in a well lit area for like 12 hours of the day?

Light damages the trichs. Dark is best, Im sure it wont ruin it but you have come this far, might as well finish it out right.

they "need" to be in the dark... it won't "kill" anything to have them in light, but it will seriously effect the potency that is there... light degrades the THC

just stick it in a closet and close up the door... that's good enough... I do that when I don't have much to dry....
