Do I crop the flowering tops when I cut the clones? Do you put your clones under flourescent light to root them? Any nutes other than rooting hormone? Thanks

Have read several places it is actually better to lower night temperature. Was just looking at some beautiful lavender bud and the color was attributed to cooler "night" temperatures. What cha think?
