my guess is when you moved you hit a bump and something in the wiring in the ballast was loosened and you hve a short of somekind. it wouldnt be in the bulb. if the bulb is worn it would go completely out or would dim not go on and off. so im pointing the finger at a faulty ballast

flushing keeps salt deposits on the roots down, it comes from your water/soil/whatever else goes in there. plus it helps get any other unwanted crap out of your soil...

wal mart will be open monday and they have the 24 inch glow light cfls. there in a 26inch package that say GROW LIGHT and or under cabnet light.. they ar only 10$ and work very well for vegging... they only use 17wt and push out 120wt.. i had 6 of them in my 3x3x4 till the little piggies took...
