I would say female. Few leafs in the way but i see hairs.
 
Yes, the little white hairs (pistils) indicate that this is a female. We cannot see enough of the plant to tell if she looks "okay" or not.
 
Yupp... I love hot chics. The 2 little white hairs mentioned are shown surrounded in "**" incase you would like a visual.

If the other plant has white hairs, it is female. You do not have to wait for bud formation. Preflowers are an indicator of sex.

If these were grown from bagseed, keep a good eye out for herrmies.
 
I know your question is on sexing your plants and don't want to get off subject but what are you using for lights? I can't help but notice the stretch in your plants and think the lighting isn't enough.
 
I must agree with niteshift. Those plants are screaming for some more light. Do you have any airflow in your grow area? If you have a fan blowing on them it will make the plant much thicker, stronger, and just more sturdy.
