Howdy all,
I just received my pH meter along with a bunch of nutes and such, which I will have more questions about later. My question for now, is in relation to calibrating the meter. It came with 4.0 calibrating fluid but not 7.0 clibrating fluid. Reading the instructions that came with it, I'm supposed to pH at 4 and also pH at 7 with the second callibration point. However, being that I don't have the 7.0 calibration fluid, I'm wondering if it is a necessity? In other words, would I be able to calibrate this meter (CWP Instruments Accurate pH 1) using only the 4.0 solution? Would the meter read accurate for my tap water?
Thanks guys/ladies...
