GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office vice and narcotics unit made three arrests and removed two children from a home where they found 65 pounds of marijuana.

When deputies searched the apartment at 200 Eunice Drive, they found the marijuana stashed in kitchen cabinets, along with a gun.

Investigators said there were two children, an 11-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, in the apartment. They were turned over to the Department of Social Services.


Deputies arrested Norma Laguna Gomez, 30, Luis Laguna Gomez, 33, and Clementa Laguna Montes, 34, who all live in the apartment. They are charged with unlawful neglect of a child, trafficking in marijuana and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

They are being held without bond at the Greenville Detention Center.

Violent crime???? man what is this country coming to.

You shouldn't have 65 pounds of mj if you have kids. Bad move in my opinion - not worth it! It's better to do a little 250w grow for personal use.
