Air purifier with or without ionizer?

Hello evrybody!!! I am about to purcharse an air purifier cuz the babies are smelling already so i don't want to know how bad is gonna be when flowering... I am not sure of what kind of purifier i should get... with or without ionizer... What do you think??? Any feedback on these links or any recommendations???

I just placed my expensive Sharper image Ionic Breeze GP in my grow room.
(the biggest one they carry). I put it on Hi with the ION button on, for
negative ions.

Wasn't sure, but I think i smelled a hint of my grow in my living room
so i put the Ionic breeze in. Ill report back . Hopefully it works well.

in MarPassion, grow guide thread, it states people having success
using them, and the negative ions seem to make the grow better.
All subjective, but noted.

WHILE ON THE SUBJECT.

Since I already have a 70cfm bathroom exhaust vent, venting out the house.
if I wanted to filter it. Could I just stick some activated carbon, in the
vent tube leading outside, after the fan?? or does it actually have to be
like "packed tight with carbon"?
