Hi all,

This is my first time growing so I've decided not to use purchased seeds until I get a little experience. I'm growing an unknown indica strain in a drip bucket system under 400 watt hps 24/7. The temp is usually 80-85. Humidity is 40-50%. I also have a fan running 24/7 on medium. I've mixed up a homemade solution for C02 in a 2 quart container. The plant is 2 weeks from seed started in rockwool. I've been noticing yellow coloring and dying on the first lower leaves on the tip and along edges. (2 round and first spear shaped) The ph goes up often. I'm using ph-down to control. I test once daily. Try to keep it around 60. The lights are 2 1/2 feet from plant no burning. I thought I introduced nutes too soon so I stop them. Only worm phed water for now. But it may have been just the ph level being too high. Those leaves are stilling dying out. The second set up are fine. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what might be the problem? Or is that a problem? When should I start nutes again? Sorry no pics. I only have camera phone not clear.

Your ph should be 5.8-6.2.

Nutes should be able to be used... try them at 1/8 strength... if they take it w/o any bad effects then try 1/4...
