so a room is 4'X2' will 6 100w (but use 23W of electricity) compact fluoros be enough to light a 8 square foot space? btw the lights are around 1800 lumens (10k lumens total). someone quoted me on 3200 lumens per square foot?

hey i have 200watts of flouro's in my room i have 1 4ft 4 bulb fixture. each tube runs at 32watts. 2 cool white and 2 warm the cool whites are 4100k and the warm are 3000k. 1 32watt cfl at 5000k 1 27watt at 4100k and 1 13watt at 3000k. these light are lighting up s 2x5 space and if my math is right that would put it at 40watts per sq foot at 26300 lumes in all i have pic in my grow post growing in baltimore. i hope this info helped you out.:D

I'm no expert, but I think when you change bulbs, you might have better success with 6500k or 2700k or a mix of both. I'm not sure the 4100k and 5000k are the right spectrum. Someone pleae correct me if I am wrong.
