Couple of Questions

I have a few questions about har far should i keep the hps light from the plants? and does anybody know how much in electricity a single 400w hps lamp uses a month? Does anybody know any good sites to get some seeds that you guys trust or have used. I just got my new light and i am in the flowering process prolly about 1 month in I just wanted to know some extra facts thanks.,

a 400 watt should be ~12 i believe... u can tell.. just put ur hand over the plants.. if it is hot.. then it is too close.
A single 400w hps uses 400w an hour... so 9.6 kilowatts a day when on 24/0
multiply that by your kw/h rate in your area...
