I just picked some of my bud and am planning on making hash from the trim. I dried some trim from my last plant and i can't see any trichs on them any more. I was wondering if i should dry this trim or should i just throw the wet and dry in iso? Thanks for the help.

I let mine sit out overnight to get a little crispy buy not dry

Yeah, if it's crispy the resulting wash will be very dark. Like Disco says, overnight but not too dry. And plan to execute the wash QUICKLY like the teks say, you don't want the ISO to linger for more than a few minutes! I don't do ISO washes any more, but when I did I would just 'rinse' the iso over the trim which sat in a strainer. Just rinse, repeat a few times and BLAMMO. Good ISO!

I agree. the longer it's in iso, the more 'other' non-psychoactive essentail oils that are extracted.. quick wash will yeild the purest form ;)
