I am currently running two 432 watt t5 light fixtures and about another 100-200 watts in fans/other things to about a total of a little over 1,000 watts running from one outlet, is this to much?? should i hook them up to seperate circuits? or is this fine for one outlet? i know people run 1,000 w HPS'S with no problem but they come with a ballast and im not sure if they help from overloading the circuit

1000 / 120 = 8.333 amps well under for even a 15 amp circuit.

Ballasts dont help from overloading crkts, your T5's have ballasts also.
