ok i was wondering i got a jack herer i know shes a female so my book saws not to flower till pistals have set and i was wondering what you guys think on flowering before the set its such a tall plant that if i wait till they set it gets to tall for me i was also thinking maby i could trim it to not grow tall but bushy im not sure how to top it though so i figured i would ask you guys for some help and see what you think

Supposedly plants won't flower until they're mature. I've only had one plant mature before putting it into flowering; all the rest were put into flowering before they were mature and they always started flowering within a week or week and a half or so. So, in my opinion, you can put your plants into flowering now.

As for the height of you plants, you can tie down the tall stems to the desired height.

Alternating nodes are the key BUT.....

Post a pic and you will have your answer....
