Heating Pads?

Im curious what a heating pad would be used for? They sell them at a nursery close to my home and I was wondering if it was worth purchasing?

for germinating and cloning. a little warmth does wonders in seed germinating, and is damn near a necessity when cloning for really good clones

I just used mine tonight for my honey oil. I put it under my pan of premade oil, it keeps the oil soft, and makes it a hell of alot easier to scrape the oil up.
