help with picking out a camera

I've decided its time to finally get a new camera which I really dont know much about them. Though today after reading up on them I have narrowed it down to these two Canon PowerShot SX200 IS or Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 and was wondering if anyone had either of them and how much they liked them. If anyone has a different one that works really well I'm up for ideas still and I'm trying to stay under $400 if possible.
