Is it safe to consume cannabis while taking antibiotics?

Please put some light on this - Is it safe to consume cannabis while taking antibiotics. A friend of mine is suffering from the disease Atopic eczema.
The doctor has prescribed him antibiotics which are helpful in disease management.

I have got responses that the cannabis and antibiotics relation will create havoc in the internal body system.
