Hi All,
This is my first visit, so I hope I do this correct. I suffer from debilitating pain from arthritis, nerve damage and the list goes on. I also am a former oxycontin addict and other prescription pain killers. Not that I abused these medications, I became addicted from long term use, 30 years.

It seems that the medical profession has always thrown me a pill to remedy the pain I suffer.

So that's pretty much my story except that I am now free of prescription pain killers which have robbed me of a quality life.

Well welcome to MP my friend. Remember we are here to help you grow the best meds that earth provides. So spark a joint and start reading. Anything you don't understand just ask.

Welcome to MP. Yup the docs think everything can be fixed with a pill. Anyway glad to have ya here and hope to see ya around. Enjoy the site!

I've not found a doc who agrees with my own self medication. My diagnosis comes and goes with every specialist. I'm glad to be with friends now.

 A new growing season has begun. I worry about the choppers who fly overhead checking for new growth. Anyway to curb their appetite?

Many thanks! In a distant past I felt like a loner, now I'm with my own.

Many thanks to you. I'm hopeful that my green-thumb puffs up bigger than last season.

I'm back.....

Michigan is a dry, dry place. We did pass the medical marijuana bill. A lot that does for me. Can't find a doctor who will refer me for medical use. So my garden just has to get a little bigger. If I could go to Amsterdam for a few years.........that would make me pretty darn happy.

Looking for someone to converse with from Michigan, but everyone is welcome of course. :D

Life is short!!! Every day someone in my life is always worried about the little things. I just tell them to wait 24 hours, the little things just sort of drift away. It's better to let them drift away in a cloud of smoke though.

I was away for a few months in my little garden, which was pretty plentiful. Visited several shut-ins every day, now with the cold weather, guess I'm a shut-in too. That's not always a bad thing, gives me more time to devote to my winter garden.

Michigan finally passed the M. Medical use law. Though it is limited of course. No doctors in our area will approve medical use for "any" of my smoking friends. We're really limited and the growing season is very short. Even talking about it leaves us up for speculation and there are narc's all over. I stay really hidden, don't hang with many people. When I do run into old friends, they can't believe how much better I move around and don't have the limpy gait I used to have. They want to know my secret, I can't tell them it's the smoke cloud. They of course cure their aches and pain with the legal drug, alchohol. Of course, they are the ones with DUI's and high car insurance penalities.

When I talked with a towing friend of mine about which was the highest incidence of traffic accidents due to alcohol, he said, "All of them!" He's never been to an accident scene that was due to marijuana use.

Interesting huh!!
