i know someone with 125 watt blue cfl and he's curious bout using to grow just wondering what this might be good for

yeah i did see that at home dept store, someone showed me the grower light its cool blue blub, im like ***? does it has hps or something, it didnt say anything about that hps, i think its for just flowers only flower plants u know?
it was old man that work at home dept, he might think i grow flowers, well i asked him for blubs to grow my corn in the barn, thats when he couldnt help me futher oh well. but home dept does have 400 and 600 watt hps ballastic blub!! 40 bucks ethier!

Could be very useful for vegging.

could you then add a red one for flowering at the appropriate time cause he wants to get started i'm giving him some seeds

Yep, all you would have to do is switch bulbs for flowering... no mogul base/ballast to deal with.
