i'm currently running a 400watt mh/hps conversion, how much more a month am i going to spend on POWER!!!

Depends on, how long your lights are on for and what you pay a Kw/h, it will be on your power bill (e.g, 0.12 cents = Kw/h) post some numbers and we'll work it out.

lights are on 18/6 right now....0.12kw/h been running lights for about 19 days so far

oh...here are some pics of my current grow (first timer) seeds from premium mix pack...they say its strains of white widow,northern lights,big bud,and afghan kush...tell me what u think!!!! lights are about 24 inches from top of plants

Okay, you are running a 400W light 18 hours a day
400*18=7200W a day.
7200W=7.2kw a day.
7.2 kw*.12=$.864 per day.

Thanks HEMP but id go a tad more:
430*18=7740W a day.
7740w=7.74kw a day.
7.74kw*$.12=$.928 (nearly $1 a day)
$.928 a day*30 days=$27.84 a month

But thats just your lights if you want to know how much your whole grow costs add up all the watts from your fans, pumps and whatever else needs power, then use the same method above, also it will be a bit cheaper when you switch your lights over to 12/12

430*12=5160W a day.
5160w=5.16kw a day.
5.16kw*$.12=$.619
$.619 a day*30 days=$18.57 a month

Not to worry. You can use the hamster and meth method. You get a bunch of hamsters in wheels and connect them to a generator. This also increases the CO2 in the grow room.:doh:

Yes, but that has two drawbacks, cleaning the hamster poo, and attracting large predators. If you think its tough to get rid of spidermites, try getting rid of a pack of mountain lions. Worm'sWay doesn't make anything for that one...
