looking for input on "Sure to Grow" grow media

Iv been reading about this product and it sounds great but i cant find many examples of how it works with pot plants. Im growing 18 plants in a 4'x8' area under 2 1000 watt hps lights.
my main objective is to cheaply automate my watering with a flood and drain or a recirculating drip ring type system (with minimal maintenence)

Never heard of it. But they sure will grow in a Grodan Rockwool.
