My daughter, who is in her 40s, has suffered debilitating headaches since her teens. She has seen numerous doctors and specialists over the years to no avail. She also has problems with vertigo as a result of a head injury a few years ago. She tried some MJ which a friend bought off the street - type unknown. She said it seemed to help. I would like to procur some MJ which would target her symptoms to see if we can find a strain that works for her. She lives in a non-medical MJ state so she can't go to a dispensary.
Which strains are recommended for severe headaches and vertigo?

i'm not sure about which strains, i know some help, but i have heard a bit about ingesting small amounts (1/2 g) of mushrooms giving people relief from migraines for 2-3 months. sorry i couldn't be of more help.

look down in the Strains part of the forum, theres a huge list of all sorts of strains and the medical benefits that they each possess, not all strains help the same problem so id start with the list, pick out a few strains that help with headaches/migraines/vertigo and see what ones are avaliable to grow if thats what your looking to do, buy some seeds of each type and grow them out, see what ones help the most and then continue to grow those, reason i suggest to pick a few is that not every person has the same responce to particular strains, for example a strain that might knock my friend out for the night doesnt effect me as heavely as him, so while hes off in sleepy land im just stoned and melted into my couch yet not sleepy, so she may need to sample a few different strains to find out what works the best for her.

Many patients have found that medical cannabis provides a safe and effective way to prevent and treat their headaches. History shows that cannabis has been used for hundreds of years for the treatment of migraines. The cannabis plant contains over 100 unique chemical compounds, known as cannabinoids, that work together to help relieve headache symptoms.
