low stress training???

now when i do lst do i want to keep the light cycle on 12/12 to reduce the size of the plant....the measurements are 30x31x15 this is my first time trying the lst..i am using alaskan ice with cfl lights...im putting an old ps2 vent on the backside down low. fox farm trio soil pack for nutrients??? anyone throw me some ideas

12/12 will not 'reduce' the size.. "IMO" if anything, it actually induces stretching...
18/6 or 20/4 or 24/0 will result in tighter internodal growth, ie shorter plants at maturation.

:yeahthat: Maybe consider training under a screen to keep them consistently low.

You can keep them 2 to 4 inches in veg, depending on how often you train your plants.

Spread out the growth to create an even canopy, then once the canopy is just about

full switch to flowering and quit training when buds appear (usually about 15 to 25 days once 12/12 is introduced.)
