lumatek digital ballast 1000w interfering with fm radio

Can you tell me if this is common or is there something wrong with ballast it is about a year old and when it fires bulb it kills fm radio and ballast is on separate power source any fit for this? thanks

One of my ballasts causes RFI. When I pull in to my driveway and the lights are on in the grow, my car radio just makes static.
