M.G. soil

So I tried some of the new M.G. organic ground soil.
I have to say it is outperforming FFOF by leaps and bounds!
They SAY its organic. I need more info on that but its cheep and works great.
Anybody else tried it?

Very interesting.... I have seen it at the local retailer...are you working indoors or outdoors? How is it on drainage?

I try to buy absolutely no Miracle Grow or Scott's products. They are owned by Monsanto, one of the most evil companies in the world.

There are a lot of products out there that are not manufactured by a company that is killing people and poisoning the earth.

Gloman, glad you found the soil that is working for you. Enjoy. I am with THG, miracle grow will never be in my garden again. I made that decision over 15 years ago when enrolled in the Master Gardener classes at WSU.

Well I'm not saying I'm sold on it.
This was mearly a test to see how it works.
I'm 100% with you HG and Rose.
I never researched Who made it, I just tried it.
That being said, here's my evaluation of it SO far.
There are more than 1 version of the performance organics.
Potting soil and ground soil.
I used the ground soil and added about 10% pearlite to keep it loose.
Its in a 7gal smart pot side by side with another girl of same strain started at same time in FFOF.
M.G. plant is a good 20% larger no nutes added by me.
FFOF soil was new. Also no nutes.
Drainage is good. It looks the same as the organic composted forest products I paid a pretty penny for to go in my greenhouse.
If it were made by someone else I would have to say it's a good product.
HOWEVER.
I am with you on not supporting (or trusting) Anything related the Monsanto.
