i'm talkin' about Mass Effect 2...if you're a fan of sci-fi story lines and movie like game style then this is one for you...i'm pretty sure it launched on 1/26/10 but i had the pleasure of "testing" the game ahead of launch date. the game is in no way "short" or lacking entertainment value.. the semi-linear game play leaves room for you to play it through many times without doing it the same way twice..i'm already 30 hrs into it and still don't see the end nearing...good pot seems to enhance the immersion into the story making it all the more "personal" to the player in making game altering decisions and you soon find that the game character becomes and extension of yourself..having played Mass Effect 1, i was a little more hip to the back story and had developed more of a gut instinct about the sinister plans against me(which changes in-game depending on your action). if you liked the movie avatar, i think you'll be pleased with the Mass Effect series;)

yes indeed puff monkey, also played ME1 and am very happy with how #2 has been playing out so far.

I also had the pleasure of playing a "pre release" lol, but I'm only about 15 hours in right now. I wish they would have done something a bit different with the scanning though. But the main quest definitely draws you in, and the fact that this game plays off of desisions from the first game makes it even better!

on another note, having "ripped" this title from a certain D/L site, i only think it fair to purchase something of this quality..it is obvious that a poopload of work went into development of this game and it wouldn't be right to not pay for it.

Are we talking pc or xbox/ps3? i loved playing deep space high ...

PC and x360 for sure but idk about ps3....PC is the only way to game so if you've got a good pc get it for that.

Nice set up there Puff Monkey!

You built that desk? Speaking from professional experience- that's really good work.

thanks man...i did it with a jigsaw and a skill saw lol....seriously

i basicly built it around my monitor...i like to sit close to this thing...it's like having a 90" screen.

That is some nice work man! I do some woodworking to, but when I moved to Michigan, I put all my tools (besides hand tools) in my brothers shop for storage, but he uses them. My grandfather was a carpenter, made his living out of his garage building grandfather clocks, base rocking chairs, and all sorts of special order items, alot of nice cabnetry.

Really nice work man!

i keeps perfect time if you can read joints lol.

I got a clock in my shed stuck at 4:20...lol...it's a viagra clock to

very nice work on the desk puff... nice computer set up as well. What shell are you running with? I'm assuming u assembled it yourself.

yeah, i built it as well...almost 5 years ago lol..the only upgrade my PC has had since is the gpu and the case...gotta keep it from melting..i actually did melt one of the cores on my original gpu(7950GX2) but MSI has a really good RMA policy so now i'm packin' a GTX260 superclocked gpu..my mobo is a K9n SLi platinum(old, i know) with a fossil of a northbridge chipset(570SLi) with 4 gig SUPERTALENT mem(DDR2@800mhz), a thermaltake 680w psu, 3 HDD's (1775 GB total after format) and last but certainly not least, my AMD FX-62 cpu....i paid over $1,000 for it when it launched, but hey it still hangs with todays PC's.....i have yet to find a program that my system cannot handle except for CRYSIS set to max.. even then there's no real lag or freeze...the desk, speakers, screen and PC ran me about $4,000 when i built it but as they say, you get what you paid for.
