Hey y'all,
I'm new here, and currently on my third grow. I've watched here from the sidelines for my first two grows. A big thanks to all of you for the (unknown) help. Anyway...
There aren't many options where I live for lighting. I use 45w cfls for veg and a 150w hps w/ cfls for flower. It's only one plant at a time, and it does a decent job. The problem I always ran into was that even with LST, trying to use the cfls from the top still starves her for light on a side or two. I had this old piece of lawn chair, and it just happens to fit the perimeter of my girl. So I rigged the lights to it and voila... diy side lights!
I can rotate the clamps. That puts the lights horizontal with the bulbs making a -<>- shape for veg, and then back this way for side light in flower.
It's test run begins at lights on, so will see how well it will work?!
