Well, Jacks classic and bloom are on the way. I want to start off the new multi strain grow using the jacks only in peat. So far 7 have broken ground.

All looks good.but that's exactly what I'm wanting to get away from. High cost nutrients. I could care less if the product is chemical or organic based. As long as it does a good job and has no harmful crap in it..I'm good. I've seen what jacks can do and I'm ready to ride that train...lol.

Plus, I'll be traveling a little during this next grow. I have a guy who is inexperienced with growing who's going to feed them while I'm gone. Jacks is simple and easy so it's just dump mix and water.

Yes it is a no brainer 1/2 tsp per gal every watering.

Heading into the stretch on these. Harvested the oldest one. She was loaded with milky triches and I'm outta weed soooo a murder did occur. The other three are just a few days apart in age and all seem to be in different stages. One appears slower than the others. Oh well, she's filling in and should finish in a few weeks. I'll just keep checking the scope.
The one plant has a nice shade of red. At least to me it's red. Being shade blind it is hard to describe blended color.
Anyways, enjoy the pics. It's been a blast having y'all along on this ride.

If you like a nice racy buzz like I do, milky is fine. It'll age while in storage if it doesn't get smoked up in the meantime.

3gal Fabric pot...End of grow

My intentions for doing this is to possibly recover some promix to reuse. I used straight promix HP Myco. Nothing added. Let's see how much this auto filled up the pot during its 69days of existence.

I pulled the root ball from the pot and noticed root growth had started to extend through the bottom of the pot. The ball was solid and slightly moist. I did my best to pull apart the ball into three sections. The roots were well developed through the whole medium. Pulling apart the medium was like trying to peel off a coconut husk. Dense but not super packed. They definitely filled it to capacity with roots.

I don't see any way to recover medium from this. Mostly id recover old root which would be fine for the compost pile but I don't really want all that root waste in my next medium. So, maybe I'll try a 5 gal on a few next time I grow autos. Although I'll be up potting from 1gal to 3 gal upon any preflowers showing. So maybe that will make a difference. I'll have to wait n see when that grow is over and compare it to this root ball.

I prefer it milky with a sprinkle of clear. Seems to hit the peak in smell at that point and I love the Racey high. Let to much amber in there and that window closes fast.

The last standing Devil Xxl

She's the last of the devil lot. Seems to be a bit behind all the others by at least a week or more. Today she's at 70days old. Still growing and not filled in and firm yet. Haven't even looked at the triches yet. You can visually see she's not even close.

I have harvested the other three Devil Xxl's. One was taken a little early so we could have something to smoke. The other two were taken on day 69&70. Both showed me amber with milky triches so down they came. The early plant gets us pretty high for being early so hopefully the fully mature version will be more of what we seek. Some pics

The Mixed Seed from Fastbuds are doing their thing. All near or over 8 weeks. Definitely four different plants. Would be cool to know what they are but that's the mystery in mixed bags of beans. It's been a good grow. Kinda overfed them but these two auto grows taught me a lot about autos. I'd definitely grow Fastbuds seed again but it is pricey. I have a lot of Carty's beans to run for my next auto grow late this summer.
