I have a small black fly that is feeding on the roots of my plants:holysheep: it resembles a fruit fly and is about 1/15th the size of a common fly. any knowledge about how to exterminate this pest would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Its probably a fungus gnat, you have to use some kind of gnat control product, like gnatrol. I think thats how its spelled.
