I have just been in my grow room and discovered that the light did not go off.So the plants received 8 hours of light more. They are in 5 weeks flowering. Is this a big damage?

Hi Ogi!

No worries. At least you didn't shorten the dark photoperiod and as long as they get at least 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness they should be fine. I don't know which would be better but I think you have a couple of options that shouldn't do much more than put a stutter step in their flowering if any effect at all. If they are still on you can leave them on until the next 'off' cycle. Or you can turn them off now and leave them off for the next 16 hours until the next day cycle.

Time for a new timer...

Peace!
