She was a brilliant singer, doesn't matter she took drugs, she was really talented and made great music.

She was a talented singer but she had little if any impact on the music world. Amy Winehouse was a self indulgent celebrity who did not think that the rules of society applied to her. The whole world saw this coming so nobody is really suprised. What the big suprise is is how the media is trying to turn her into an icon when in reality she was just a pathetic junkie who refused to be helped or help herself.
