I got a few new plants in cups that are gonna need transplanted soon. A couple of them are showing signs of some stretching.
When I transplant into bigger pots can I bury the stems about an inch or so deep to eliminate stretch or will they die ?

Bury them. I put seedlings and clones in 16 ounce plastic cups with holes cut in the bottom. When I transplant them there is usually some stretch because I veg them under CFL's. When I transplant I always bury the extra stem that I can. I try to get them so the first set of leaves are an inch or so above the soil.
