Topping a plant?

Can someone post pictures of the proper way to top a plant and is it okay to top a White Widow plant? I took clones yesterday of my 3 WW plants but would like to top also if possible.I'll post some new pictures of my plants in a couple of days.

why dont you just bend over and tie down instead of topping . if you top it, it takes alot of energy to rebuild itself . also alot more time involved waiting .and as far as where you cut i believe you follow the top down to where its forked out at and go just below that .but then again i havent topped one since last year .
