hi all, i just switched my plants in soil from 4 27watt flours to a 250 mh hid.

the leaves on most closest to the light (2 feet) look curled under and light green....

ive cooled it on the nutes as of 3 days ago and am only watering once every 3 days.

could it be a sunburn that my plants have to recover from?

ph is 6.8-7
vegging stage

it did get a little hot, at about 89 for a few days, i lifted the light a bit...
got a little warm here unexpectedly, now its about an 85.... thank god.

What are your temps just above the tops of your plants?

now its about 85, a small heat wave brought the temp up for a moment.

Do you have any pics you could post up? Trust me pics would help out alot. Also you should get your PH down to 6.5. If you were feeding them nutes it just might be the problem but not sure. You could try flushing them with plain water.

Your plants will/is adjusting to the good light.
Some of your fan leaves might dry up and fall off.
But others will grow out and takes its place.

Give it some time and extra watering.

The higher temps and intense light will make your girls
drink alot more water.

goodluck

i will work on the photo tomorrow, it asked for a url or something im not that smart... ill use the tutorial thank you.

i have tried to lower my ph with vinager, everytime i do i loose my crop, it wrinkles and dies, so just leaving it alone seems to do well enuff...

am i lowering the ph wrong?

took me 2 months to recover from the last acid burn.

what is the PH of the water that you are adding??

and how much Vinegar do you put in it?

ph is now 7 - 6.8

i check the water...

when adjusting PH and etc..

its important you use the best type of measuring device possible.

Like a measured Syringe.

i only use 1/4 teaspoon a gallon until i reach my desired ph level.

for soil? a 1/4 teaspoon?

how much total usually per gallon?

i know soil is more delicate when it comes to ph acidicy...

DO NOT put vinegar directly into your soil. You're supposed to add it to your feeding water. Whats the color temp of your mh bulb? For example, is it 4500k, 5500k or 6500k?

ya i put vinegar in the water first.....

250w philips crisp white light, doesnt say the color temp.

probably just in shock to the new conditions... water only... PH down to 6.5 ... straight water till u see a marginal improvement, then back to a feeding schedule. pretty much what everyone else said.
