The best way to determine harvest time is to get yourself a scope or magnifying glass (every hobbiest should have one) and look at the color of your trics, you can also read HIE's thread here http://www.marijuanapassion.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17609

One last thing: the hairs change colors as the plant goes through different stages of maturity and is NOT the way to determine harvest, imo

Trics (Trichomes) is where the THC is produced. Look at the thread and you will see them. I am horrible at explaining

That IS why they are "sticky's"..
