I'm thinking these are ready to harvest. There isn't 100% amber in the Trichomes. The thing is that the cola's are sprouting new flowers as the rest of the bud is nice and amber. I suspect lighting has something to do with this. Perhaps I should reduce intensity as the bud's develope.

My plants have been chopped. This is a video of my Banana Hammock (ETHOS). This is my second grow and I'm pleased. They've been hangin in my basement for five days. The RH is 30% and I'm drying them in near darkness. I can see the trichomes glisten which I think is kind of cool.

They were quite dry after hanging for 8 days so I've trimmed the buds from the big stalks and have them in storage jars to cure at room temp in the dark. I wound up with 6.6 oz from my two plants. The Banana Hammock had a higher yield than the 10th Planet R1. It also had a higher concentration of trichomes. The root system of the Banana Hammock was more extensive as well. I used two different brands of potting soil. Hammock was Happy Frog and 10th Planet was Vigro All Purpose Potting Mix. I'm partial to the Happy Frog. I watered them with a 1.25g / L solution of General Hydroponics Maxigro (10-5-14).
