which bulb is better?

I have a 400w mh/hps combination bulb that Im currently using but I also have an hps bulb. Is one better than the other?

Have you google'd the bulbs for specs?

Yeah, look up the bulb's specs. Look for lumens output and the most favorable color spectrum.

The Agrosun Golds bulb is mh with an added red light for flowering at 40000 lumens. The hps bulb is generic and I dont have any specs. I think my best bet would be to ride out through veg using the Agrosun and then invest in a hortilux to flower.

I would go with the generic bulb I'll bet ya it is pushing at least 50,000 lumens at least my generic ones do...take care..

is there a way to measure it? I know the super hps bulbs push upward to 65000 lumens
