I did a set up of CFLs so i have a bit of experience with the setup. I would like to add one more thing to this thread. If you are starting your grow with CFLs.. know that the size of them have increased. You can find 125w 130w and 150w (the ones i have seen available at the hydro store)...

Sorry to hear that. It happened to us last year. Our biggest problem were the bugs. We had a colony of mites. If you were still in Veg i'd say you can spray em with a "natural" or ok to spray on vegs cide... but i have read that you shouldn't spray anything once you enter flower.... Good...

HPS will always be better for flowering however if heat and space is an issue and you have no other choice... you can go with a 125w or 150w CFL and get Excellent results. The temperature of the bulb is important and come in the 2700K, or 5600K, however for flowering purposes you should stay at...

AliStair Young, The meter i have is a 2 in 1 Mouisture/ph (soil) reader.. but it has two probes... and a switch... so in essence is two in one "literally"... Je Je.. Thanks for the info... where do i get a liquid of knows ph to verify accuracy? I have a digital ph reader but need to adjust it...
