I Have a Question?
How would i hook up (5) 600 watters in one room.
What would I hook the lamps up to.

U might need to have more then one breaker for that kinda setup... they draw a lot of power. Unless u had it wired as 220, that'll help a bit.
I have 3, 15 amp circuits in my room.

you can tie into a dryer plug, but you can't run the lights and dryer at the same time.
you will need a 240volt timer and small sub-panel for breakers, having a breaker for each plug is ideal.
remember half the amps at 240. it is always better to run at 240 if possible.

Exactly my point! Saves power as well. But to purchase a timer board (i'm assuming u woudln't make one... is a lot of work) costs as much or more then a ballast.
