I want to use this new aeroponics system that I bought to grow herbs in because it has a light attached to it.

the a lamp arm only goes up to 12in - 16in. Is it safe to repot after the plant grows beyond that point?

are there any points that don't grow to tall?

thanks,

lowryder and lowryder #2 (i think that's its name) both keep very low, but it should be safe to transplant, but the plants will go through a period of shock as they acclimate themselves to the new soil where it wont push new growth for a short period.

oh wait, aeroponics? ionno about transplanting that...i would think you could do it, but it would be a big shock to the plants

Yeah, a friend of mine transplanted seedlings from soil into an Aerogarden (I assume thats the system you're talking about.) then he transfered them to an aeroponics unit. The drawback with the aerogarden is that you can only use the nutrients made for it. It does work, but there are better ways.
