Could a clone be taken from a flowering plant.

Yes, they just generally take longer and are a little harder to root. There are many that do not want to bother taking a clone of a male, so wait until their plant has shown sex before cloning.

I find that cuttings from a flowering plant will root faster. Sorry to disagree Hemp Goddess. But theres only one way to find out. So let us know what happens.

With this bit of information, I will cut today. Thanks.

have you cloned before? i recommend going to the propegation section of the forum and reading the top sticky by norcalhal. i do it exactly the same as him.

After several attempts, I finally was able to clone 6 plants, but they were male. Now I want female clone plants.

try the way it says to do it in the sticky and you will not be sorry. I usually have 100% success rate.
