few cloning questions

so...i just ordered a 400 watt hps light...i plan on ordering some lowryder but i have some plants i would like to move into my new setup when i move in a few days....i have one hollands hope plant i would like to use as a mother...its about 10-12'' tall and is under cfl's currently...i am just wondering if i can throw it into flower (under the cfl's) until i can tell the sex of it then put it back to veg and clone if its female and then put it all under the hps or would that be too much stress on the plant?

could hermie on ya. i would just wait till it shows sex in veg and then clone. you dont have to flwer to tell sex.

Or take a clone now and put it under 12/12 it will sex and show the doner's sex.
