First of all I want to say thank you to the Admins. for the add. I should have been here a long time ago. I'm a new grower (as in my first two ladies were just flipped into flower a week ago.) I guess the strange thing about me is that I have fallen in love with growing in the past 4 months or so BUT I don't actually smoke cannabis! I do enjoy edibles so I'm down with the THC and CBD aspect due pain and anxiety issues. The growing itself is so interesting, relaxing and fun to me. I am a single guy 36 and live alone so these girls are literally like my babies. I am of the mind that you never stop learning and even an expert in something (which I am most certainly not) will continue to learn until the day they die. The moment you start to think you know everything is the moment you stop learning. This is why I'm here. I can only watch so many hundreds of hours of YouTube videos until I start wondering about others opinions and trials. That being said you are going to be seeing a lot of me posting on here and asking (probably stupid) questions. Please give me a break, I'm only here to learn. I'm super excited to start posting pictures, videos and questions. I'm very laid back and easy to talk to so please don't be shy :)

Welcome we always will try to help you here in the Passion

Welcome, and when you get close to harvest time, don't forget we've got a Bud of the Month contest. Post some pics!

Thank you for the warm welcome guy! I'm super excited to be a member. The bud contest sounds great as long as I have something worth showing lol

Enjoy the Passion and have some fun. I personally love growing anything and everything. Nothing like watching something you planted and cared for grow. Just like my children and Grandchildren.

I agree. I also have a large garden outside and I have tomatoes in my nursery with cannabis in veg. I'm kind of using the tomatoes for training experiment. This is the closest thing I knew of to cannabis and I've been super cropping them because I don't have the balls to do that to my Mary Jane yet😂

Yeah ya don't wanna top your tomato plants. They don't grow like weed. You can pull the suckers and get a bigger tomato though.

I haven't topped them just super cropping because it scares me so much😆. My garden outside I only defoliate like 2 times in a season. Our weather in Indian is all messed up this year so not doing so great. Along with the heat we have been getting it has also been flooding really bad. So it's kinda cooking that crops outside.

Hi Nuke, I'm a new member and a new grower but I've been around - I'm retiring in 2 months, so we're at the opposite ends of life. I'm pretty familiar with other forums, some good and some really horrific. This place is different though. There's alot of good people here and you can tell that from the overall experience. I think I found a home here already and I hope you do too. Happy growing.

Thanks Doc.
The Passion is a great place with a lot of good brothers and sisters. Welcome aboard guys.

I learned a TON from here many moons ago...... looking to get back into it myself...... I have not read all the posts in the thread....... How do you grow???? soil or Hydro... and what kind of hydro it that is your thing........ I grew and want to again hydro and I LOVE DWC..... Deep water culture........ basically water.... noots..... keep PH right and bubbles )

Organic, in the ground outside; chemicals inside in R-DWC.
You get a bigger harvest outside, but you've got more pests to deal with. Keep the indoor grow operating room clean and make sure you don't wear any clothes that you've worn outside and you can grow pretty much bug free indoors.

Would LOVE outside growing....... Not an option where I am..... just yet heh

I grow in soil both inside and out. Use classic Jacks 20 20 20 in veg and Jacks Blossom at flower 1/2 tsp per gal at every watering. Except the one in-ground gets Jacks at once a week like the container says. Found a volunteer plant under a table. I think it is Sour Vengeance. One of them threw a nanner and I got a few seeds when I harvested. It is directly below the one I harvested. Plus I don't plant outside. I start inside then move outside yo pots. Too many weeds, cats, and dogs for in ground until I have my fenced in area up and running. I built one last year for this year. My sister put her dog in there. This is what is coming out. I have already got 6 ft back done it was all the way to the tree.

Nice looks good. I used the same material but green. It lasts real well. I haven't seen a cactus plant since my younger days in the Colorado Rocky mountains. Lived in Durango for a couple of years and loved it. My yard is always a work in progress I think it changes every couple of years. I have been tempted to build a railroad tie wall out side my fence so I can level my yard out. The slope in my backyard is getting harder to handle the older I get. It's really fun when Im moving dirt in the wheel barrel Every few steps I have to drop the handle so it digs into the ground just to slow me down. Real fun...

The tree is in-front if the chair. I have finished filling the dumpster 3 times. Garbage day is Friday so on Thurs evening I take out as much as I can. I have been doing this for almost 2 years. I know you cant tell by the pics I post, but it looked like a junk yard when I first started gardening weed in 2020 when it was legalized. The weeds were 5 ft tall year begire last. Monsoon season hit mid June and lasted thru Oct. Very rare for us. The mower broke too. What a mess that was. I git that all cleaned up thank God. Now gotta start getting to the back 40.
