I need info on when to change the photoperiod to unduce flowering. In a small grow area where plants could reach about 5 feet tall should I change the photoperiod when the plants are about a foot tall? I want to make the most out of a small space.

If you have the space for the larger plants and want 5 footers, most Sativa or Sativa/Indica mixes will reach 5 feet if you leave them in the vegetative cycle until they're about 18-24 inches tall. If you use 24", you may have to train the plants over slightly at end grow.
