Please help a beginner out??

Hey guys whats good. I have a question about starting to grow indoors. I was seeing if any one could be a huge help to me, by telling me how to start after germinating my seeds. I have 12 plants outside this year im just not familiar with indoor growing as far as the light, and the light cycle goes. Maybe a few key tips on having a chance to grow sick *** bud? If ne one can offer some advise to get me started that would be great.

most people will go with 18/6 or 24/0 for light cycle. (veg stage) then 12/12 for flowering stage , hps is the best type of light to use or MH , if your cheap like me then use fluorescents - how much light that's actually needed depends on how big your growroom is , plus if you have 1 use a fan inside your growroom .

soil all depends on whatever you use outside if you want but dont use open bags of it incase there's bugs in it
