Split leaflet

This is a leaf that accidentally had a leaflet stem split when it was younger and grew out two leaflets creating a 6 leaflet leaf.

thats cool. i wonder if this would help the plants photosynthisize better by having one more leaflet on each leaf??

I wondered that,hard to tell.There's definitely more surface area.
